We start from Castelnuovo Berardenga take the SS 484 for San Gusmè, after about 1 km turn right onto a dirt road that comes in the locality Casalbosco. From here the road enters the woods for about 3 km and reaches a few houses and then through a lengthy descent reach the Badia farm Berardenga. From the farm is reached S.S. 540 we take, in the direction of Amber, to a junction where svolttando left to reach the castle's medieval Monastery of Ombrone. From here a dirt road climbs up to the castle of Montalto with its fine china wall. From Montalto turn right and continue through the woods back on the SS 540 to follow for about 2km in the direction of Amber, before turning left onto the dirt road for Montebenichi. After passing the farm down the Selva you can stop to watch a beautiful panorama of Chianti. Turn left onto a discesca Which brings us to the river Line, in front of Montebenichi, then there in a dense forest crossed by numerous streams and reach Villa Arceno. From here continue on S.S. 484 Castelnuovo Berardenga.
