It starts by crossing the main roads Castellina SS 222 and S.S. 429 and take the road uphill to San Donato pedaling and from which, from the beginning you can enjoy panoramic views over the Val d'Elsa and Poggibonsi. After about 4 km the road changes presemtandosi with a steep descent to be addressed carefully and at the junction for Olena, about 2 km turn left. Now the path continues on a dirt road and, after the village of Olena, turn left again facing a short suddenly quite challenging. Arrived near a large oak tree bends left again until you cross another dirt road which starts turning right through a zone where vineyards alternate with wooded areas. After 3 km you will fall into the asphalt and continue through the castle and villa Paneretta Monsanto to reach the valley floor near Siena - Florence. Here, at an old abandoned building, the ends down and proceed to the left for a flat dirt road that forks almost immediately. Taking the path to the right and facing the ascent characterized by a bottom rather sconnessosi to the nearby village of Sornano and after 1 km, we find the asphalt of the SS 429. Continuing left, slightly uphill towards Castellina, it passes near the famous Romanesque church of Cedda and after 2.5 km on the SS dall'innesto 429, where the forest begins. Here you leave the asphalt again to take the road on the right following the signs to the farm "The Moraia". Pedaling along this path until the village of Talciona which offers a beautiful view of the castle Strozzavolpe and where there is the homonymous church. Still 1 mile down and then turn left on paved road to Belvedere. From qiu begins the steep climb on dirt road that leads to about 10 km back to Castellina.
