This church has un'origineuna among the oldest in the entire province of Siena, being documented since 1194.
The current façade is bordered by brick pilasters and the interior is divided into three naves.
The modern nave Romanesque current is perpendicular to the original building that occupies the terminal and which recognizes the limestone façade with a portal lintel and arch.
Inside, on the left wall, there is a small Madonna and Child with Saints Catherine and Bernardine of Siena, by an anonymous artist. There are also two glasses of preserved Gothic decorated with enamels, one fourteenth and fifteenth other.
In the sacristy is preserved a remarkable canvas dated 1609 depicting the "Madonna and Child with Saints John the Evangelist and Nicholas of Bari", attributed to Rutilio Manetti.
